I was recently hired to record a soundtrack for a movie. It's a psychological thriller; and most of the music I'm creating for it is eerie and depressing. I thought I'd share a rough mix of a track I've been working on today.

I can REALLY notice my Satriani influence in this one. I just can't seem to hide from it.

I hope you enjoy it! :AOK

That's great.

Try more volume on the bass track and bring the guitar a little more to the front. The music might have more urgency and energy if the guitar is brought up a bit.

Sweet groove.

Here's some of the other non-guitarsy, creepier sounding tracks:

Thanks for the mix tip. So far I'm still in the "rough mix" stage. Everything I have recorded has been recorded and mixed in Shure E3 earbuds. But I'll definitely tweak the mix.

Thanks for the feedback guys!
