Excessive Cold Medicine + Boredom + Access to Backing Tracks + Love of Zombie Flicks = this complete joke and waste of time:

Yes. Tongue in cheek. Satire. Goofy. Campy. Borderline pedestrian. Out of tune. But it was fun, and that's all that matters. :-D

Enjoy!

That was fun! Made me laugh.
I loves ze zombie movies. Movies coming out this year: Resident Evil: Afterlife (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Resident_Evil:_Afterlife), World War Z (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_War_Z#Film_adaptation) (great book, BTW), George A. Romero's: Survival of the Dead (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Survival_of_the_Dead). Next year, possibly: 28 Months Later (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/28_Weeks_Later#Possible_sequel).

Awesome, Tig!! We LOVE the Resident Evil series (Milla is just SOOO hawt)... and the 28 XXXX Later movies as well. Loves the synopsis on WWZ... will have to add those to the Zombie rack (that includes all Romero's works and associated remakes/tributes, Shaun of the Dead and the Uber Classic "Zombie Strippers").

Loves me some zombies... I have mucho zombie paraphernalia around the house; posters, a remote control zombie, many movies and books.

Movies to check out: Pontypool, Dead Girl, and Undead (Aussie indie film. Low budget, but really good).

Good stuff, MSM. When are you going to admit that you're a Les Paul Man at heart?

@Franken.. I'm an out-of-the-closet convert. Ironically, when I initially signed up on this Forum, I was going to try to shake the "Jonny Blues" moniker that I'd been dubbed about the same time the "Golden God" thing came out a zillion years ago... (my other nickname that a former drummer called me, in reference to the movie "Almost Famous").

However, shortly after signing up for the Forum, I wound up DJing a dance, and since I have a long, complicated Scottish last name, I had the event bill me as "Jonny Blues", and now everyone knows my stage personality thusly.

I haven't looked, but if it's possible, I might have to change my nick here. :-)

@Tig.. that was awesome! Maybe I should follow that up with "Moose Camp Woman"... lol

LOL

Thanks guys. Glad you're all enjoying it.

I actually "wrote" the lyrics one night when I was pretty wasted and being goofy.. fortunately my girlfriend remembered most of them, so we sat down the other night and typed them up.

Irony of ironies though.... I posted the track to my Facebook and one of the local-ish venues on my friends list heard it and just sent me an email to see when we can play there... LOL

Oh god, what have I created?? LOL

That was freakin' cool as hell, man. I'm a huge horror geek myself, especially zombie flicks from Italy and Spain in the 70s and 80s.

Got to watch George A. Romero's: Survival of the Dead (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Survival_of_the_Dead) a few days ago with my teen son. It wasn't as good as most zombie movies, but for true zombie fans it was certainly worth the time. There are some crazy-funny zombie kills!
