While researching SD Blackout pups, I learned a new word today:

"djent" from urban dictionary:

Guitar noise onomatopoetia.
The sound you get when you palm mute with razor tight, high gain tone.

"DJENT! DJEN-DJENT!"

Not to be mixed up with the ordinary "chugga-chugga" or "dun! dun-dun!".
Metalhead #1: Dude, did you hear Peripherys new tunes?
Metalhead #2: Yeah, what a great djent on the guitars!

However... in my head "djent" sounds less like Lamb of God and a lot more like, say....

If you're not a fan, skip thru to 3:45-ish when dime drops some brooooootal chugging before the solo. That's the sounding I'm thinking of. It's also one the THE heaviest sound riff's I think I've ever heard. From Moscow in 1991.
