Get a Vibrolux (if your bank account is fairly hefty) - or an older Fender tube amph. Play through an Orange Squash compressor, and you'll be very close.

It depends on what era you like.
The Strat era: 1st album was a Strat through a Fender Twin Reverb and a Rolland Jazz Chorus with the Chorus off. If you want something that is close but not too expensive, use a Mex Strat through a Fender tube amp like a Deluxe Reverb reissue or a Vibrolux reissues (the poor man’s twin)

The Les Paul era: Gibson Les Paul through a Solandro with a Wah pedal “notched”. If you want something that is close but not too expensive, use a Epiphone Les Paul through a Marshall with a good overdrive channel.
