Hi yamagamma here.
I'm a newby on this site, been playing since I was 14. Wow, almost 50 years!I like playing all sorts of stuff folk/rock, blues, soul etc. Everything from Dylan to Graham Parker. Took up blues harp this year, and having a lot of fun with that. I have several guitars. My baby is a 67 Epiphone Texan I bought in 72. I also have a Texan 12. Electrics are a 72 re-issue Tele thinline and a Casino Elitist whioch is a lovely guitar and my main axe. Anyway the site looks great!

Welcome to The Fret, yamagamma. Plenty of Canucks here!

Very nice gear collection you have. Playing almost 50 years means you've worn down some frets!
I think you'll love it here, and I'm sure your experience will come in handy as well.

Welcome! I come originally from not too far south in Tacoma, though now I am in Sun Valley. Great show, those 2010 winter games!

Thanks for the warm welcome. Actually, not very cold here in Vancouver today, 22 degrees out on my sundeck, snow on the mountains. Just beautiful here. We had a big dump of snow on the mountains after the Olympics, which as you know was touch and go. I think we put on a pretty good show though.

Had a great jam session yesterday with my mates. Looks like we have a new bass player joined us, a really good one! Plays like Entwistle. Working on some tunes for a CD this summer. Life is good.

Turn it up! :dude

It was a great show... I suffered withdrawal after it was over.

Welcome to the Fret! :canada:
