I ran across these pups and wondered if anyone can offer up a contructive review of having played them or listened to them?

What models? I've tried a few that I wasn't very pleased with. I may be able to help with your decision.

Can't help with that model.

The Vintage 59 HB's I ordered for the Tele Custom came in today. Not sure when I'll install them since I'm working the next 4 nights. These have some very positive reviews, and exactly what I'm looking for (slightly hot PAF's).

Straight from the Squier web site:

A custom set of alnico V single-coil pickups provides warmth and clarity, and enough punch for country, blues, rock and jazz.

I am almost certain they are the same exact pickups in the CV Custom Tele.

The CV 50's have "Telecaster tone rings from the custom alnico III single-coil pickups".

I just wanted to try out some hotter noiseless pups to see if I liked them. Since none of my guitars have noiseless pups I wanted to see if they are all cracked up as I read them to be. I love the the pups on the Deluxe Players Strat so I figured for 70 plus bucks this would be a cheap way to try them out.

But to be honest I have not even had the guitar a week yet so maybe I'll change my mind.

CV Squiers are rumoured to have Tonerider PUPs.
