So I poured some cereal in a bowl, and when I look in the fridge - no milk.

What do I do? I take some 33% cream and pour over the cereal, and then I add some water.

Figured it might work as a milk substitute.

Well, did it? Negative. :french

It was disgusting! Never try this at home, kids. :thwap

Beer however does NOT work on Coco Puffs or Fruity Pebbles. Don't ask me how I know. Otherwise, beer all the way or just eat it dry with a JD chaser.:dude

But grape juice or the like (not orange with pulp) works on fruity pebbles for sure, and if it is grape or cran, maybe even on cocoa puffs. Certainly would work on Cheerios. Probably granola too.

You'd need an ultrasonic probe to produce an emulsion. Definitely not recommended for home use. :nope

Next time put it in a blender, and add some butter and lard. Let us know how that works out.:crazyguy

Just kidding..........sounds like it would've been better eaten dry!:thwap

What's wrong with straight cream in such a dire emergency?

You forgot the bacon!

When I was around 5 or 6 years old, I woke up early to watch cartoons and eat a bowl of Frosted Flakes. Oops, no milk. No problem, I'll just choose something else that tastes good to me... Coke!
FAIL!
This was my first indication that a career in chemistry was not in the cards.

Orange juice works well if there's no milk at hand.
