I watched it with our 6 year old. Very good family movie! It's full of action and humour (lots of viking jokes). Highly recommended! Definitely one of the better animated movies in recent times. A bit scary at some parts - some ugly dragons/monsters do appear, so be cautious regarding small children.

Saw it the week after Easter in 3D. I thought the beginning was a bit slow. Worth seeing, but I'm not sure that the 3D effects were worth the upcharge.

My middle son and I wore our glasses upside down during some of the previews so we could see them in "D3".

Definitely a great family movie. My kids loved it.

Saw it a few weeks ago, and it was better than most animated movies (Example of not so good: Shrek 2, 3...). Good enough to be enjoyed by us big kids, too... Even my 14 year old son!

Be sure to see "Up (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1049413/)" as well if you haven't already. Same with "WALL·E (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0910970/)".

I saw it last Saturday night with my 12 year old daughter we both loved it.
The movie was much better than I thought it would be good message too.

Great movie.

I found the depiction of the vikings' lifestyle entertaining!

I have a fish pond and a black frog has decided to take residence nearby. She looks like Toothless (but meaner-looking) so that's the nickname we gave her!
