None up here in Maple leaf land. I often wondered when they would do a Studio Goldie. P90s maybe, But a set of HBs would be lovely.
Good luck in the search Muddy.

Very cool price, too. Gives me some heavy G.A.S.

I don't know significantly more, but I'm pretty sure that's "sehr".

Wow folks! Your German's gettin' better and better.

"Sehr" is correct. Anyways, Krash, great take on that difficult German language.

:AOK

Now, that is one cool Gibby!

It's time to invoke the adjective, "badass"!

(I took German in school. I don't remember much, obviously)

Anyone put an order in for one of these yet , I heard they'll be making 120 per month for 6 months in a few different finishes, £800 in the UK almost $1200 . I think I like the gold top best .Making them a limited edition and 'reasonably cheap' for a Gibson, cunning marketing or am I being cynical and should wait until I've seen a few reviews .{by which time they`ll all be snapped up}

This is one of the few guitars I am almost willing to buy sight unseen. I would love to get my hands on a gold top or the hioneyburst, but I think it will be difficult. At under $1,000 I am ready to pull the trigger.

Very nice looking, simple guitars. Let the GAS build!

Oh...wow...:drool:

One thing I love about this forum is the way that reading the right post can completely convince you that you just need one more guitar...

GAS...much GAS...

I don't think I'm in any danger of having too many just yet, but there are some that are definitely feeling a bit neglected since I got the two LPs. But I don't have a Goldie yet, and that one is sure purty!

I spoke with a friend about them today and I have a line on some. I don't need a L.P., I have several now and love them all. I do worry sometimes when I have one of my good ones out at a jam and the people dancing get a bit carried away. I've already had one woman fall back in to a mic stand and plant the mic square in the body of a Custom Shop strat I just bought that afternoon. But a L.P. that's reputed to be as nice as I have heard these are, and at a pretty reasonable price, is hard to pass by. I wouldn't worry lugging one of these around. The ones my friend is getting will be goldtops and honeybursts. I'm not sure if he's getting any other colors. If anybody needs to get hooked up, let me know ~
