Nah! This is real (http://icedweb.com/1//index.php/2008/05/13/the_beast_is_here?blog=6) although I can't figure out how you're supposed to play it.

Well, that one may not exist, but Rick Neilson, from Cheap Trick, has a guitar with 5 necks! He says in a interview I read somewhere, he had Hamer make it just for fun (to see if they could do it!) and it is heavy as a b***h!!

Cool pic tho!

Rick has owned several 5 neck Hamers, and he always brings one on tour.
His Dad owned a musical instrument store, so Rick grew up surrounded by guitars.
Anyone know how many hundred are in his collection these days?

Great posts, guys.. I'm 99% certain the picture I posted is some photoshop wankery, but seeing those 5-necked ones crack me up... and seeing Rick's Hamer makes me thing LP players should quit complaining about weight.. LOL

One guitar I always liked is Steve Vai's heart-shaped 3-neck:

I've actually played it. Not bad except for some really horrible buzz on the 83rd fret.

Then you'll get a kick out of these.

Holy god.. lol

I'm looking at these, and knowing my distaste for changing strings, I can't imagine taking two days to restring these things.. lol

File this under 'When luthiers attack".
The only functional one of the lot is JPJs mandobassogatobeast. I've seen him use it.
