i just bought me some brandy new Seymour Duncan hot rodded pickups. I just thought my art100 stock pups didn't have enough punch. Anyway. I have never installed any pickups before and figured I would wing it. I mean I can pretty much do anything to a guitar but when it comes to wiring. I get a little shakey. So I got them all installed and guitar back together and I read the little wiring diagram that came with the pups. And I threw a string on to see what is what. And nothing. :help So if anyone has any advice please help a fellow player out. Thank u. :help

A couple of questions first:

Did you simply de-solder the old pickup wires and solder in the new ones without touching anything else?

Are you sure you got the wiring color code correct before soldering?

If the answer to both questions is "yes", then I'd say that you probably have some cold solder joints. For both pickups to not work then it must be more than one.
