This guy is my latest discovery in a line of players that make you want to burn your guitars and find a new hobby :-)

He is is incredible. On this webcast he is doing more of a metal thing. I've heard him play in some other styles, with a different guitar tone that impressed me even more. Check out the following clip, this is the one that really impresses the hell out of me, and I love the tone that he is getting. I'd love to learn some of these lines.

I agree whenever I see him my jaw just drops.That is a style of playing I will appreciate hearing,what's the word I'm looking for?Fluidity.Sumi:D

The section on slide playing was truely mind blowing (and he isn't even a noted slide player). I've never been able to master slide but after watching this I can't wait to sit down and apply his tips - especially temporarily raising the action on your guitar by wedging something under the strings at the first fret.

I saw him back in '04 doing a clinic at a "boutique" store in Orange, Ca called "The Tone Merchant." Holy C**p!!!!!!!!
