Hi all--

I have a Boss FS-6, which needs its own cable to run into whatever it's switching. As far as I know, the cable can be uber-cheap, since it's just sending an on/off signal.

What's the cheapest option for this? Is there a place to buy cheap footswitch cables, like a certain phrase I should look for? Is it best to make my own? Input appreciated.

Is it plug end? I'd use a normal guitar cable. If any will do, well I suppose cheap speaker wire would work well?

Having recently gotten a Roland Cube, I looked that info up. The Hosa STP202/203/204 will work, and much less expensive than the OEM cable.

Thanks. I think this would need TRS to TRS, but I can find that pretty easily from there.

The reason I asked is because I've seen some very low-budget footswitch cables before (like what came with my TM60) and wondered where/how you find those, because it seems like you could use some ultra-cheap cables for such a purpose (i.e. non-shielded, etc.).

Two or three core lighting cable from the diy shop is all you need for footswitches. They don't need a shield. This stuff costs pennies per foot.
