Newbie Here

Hey all. I got my first guitar in the late 60's a Gibson SG Special which I loved. So After about 2 years due to neighbors complaining about too much noise.....lol!!! I traded it in for a B.C. Rich acoustic which I played for many years. Then just lost interest in playing, it just sat in the corner. I retired in 2001. Then my wife thought I might like to start playing again. So she bought me a Yamaha Pacifica and a small practice amp for $100. Needless to say I got back into playing. Then I thought I would like to get another SG. Well that started it all. I now have 11 guitars and numerous amps, petals etc. I've never played in a band, just with other friends when I was working. I've become really addicted now about buying new gear. My latest a 6120 RHH Grestch. What a beauty!!! Will enjoy this site for sure.

It was made late 60's I think. I bought in it in '71. I'd show some pics....but can't figure out how too:thwap they say my photos are too big??? Anyway bought it for $400 had it appraised $3600 much to my surprise. It has Brazilian back & sides. The neck had a really bad bow in it, could only play it in the first couple frets. Took to Taylor Guitars and they fixed it. Plays like new now!!!

Hi, Riverrick! Wow, what a wild combo of Martin styles. Mostly D28 but with a bound fingerboard. Looks like it eats banjos for breakfast :AOK

LOVE that Rich! Brazilian rosewood back n sides! Don't ever try to leave the country or cross borders with that beauty. They'll impound it as illegal due to the SITES deal! (You might already be aware of that, but just passing the info along just in case.)
