Around 4.35/.39 on, do those strings look as high as I think they do? They look awful high to me. I can't imagine playing them like that. Maybe I am seeing it wrong...

They don't look that high to me. They look like a heavy gauge though and he is a pretty percussive player. I'm sure there will be something about his set up online somewhere if you really wanted to know. look for gearsluts.com

That looks like a 64 Strat. If it's got the vintage radius neck on it the outer strings always look higher than they really are due to the curvature of the neck.
