Vox AD15VT wasn't cutting it - it's a good amp, but now it's my backup.

Here's the new one:

And the pair together:

Fender Blues Junior in tweed with the (I guess) upgraded Jensen speaker. Now this amp sounds like I what I'm looking for - VERY solid clean jazz/blues.

Picking up a used Epi DOT tomorrow after work, then I'm set. I will then begin offloading extra gear that I no longer need and try to recoup some of the recent gear costs!!

I'm in love with this amp though - it's nothing short of stellar. Well worth the price ($579 + tax).

Noice. I didn't know the BJ came with reverb. That looks like a good little rig. Are we going to get to hear some clips?

It's actually the Fender Hot Rod Series Blues Junior NOS 15W 1x12 - probably why it has the reverb if the other on doesn't.

As for some clips I'd love to get some together but have no sound capturing hardware...guess I'm not done buying gear after all :)

Congrats on the new amp!

As far as I know, ALL the Blues Juniors have reverb. Mine does, and it's the standard black model.

That's a beauty! I love the tweed look on any amph, but they sure seem to belong on the Fenders. That seems like an excellent price, too. Congratulations!

I got the old Made in USA green board model and it also has reverb. Great score on the tweed BJ!

Every Blues Junior has reverb. It's always been part of the spec on that amp. The Pro Jr doesn't.

Congrats man, I've been playing one of those at the local GC for a couple months. Love the tweed, love the sound of that Jensen.

Yesterday, I saw a vanilla Blues JR. for $275 on Craig's List. I offered him $250...he said, "there's a lot of interest, first person at my door with cash in hand gets it." I got it. :).

I have a Weber Signature 12 ALnico speaker in cab. I wonder if I should pop that in the Blues Jr., or just roll with it stock.
