I do not how I missed this one!!!
WOW the whole world just got a whole lot less funky!
One of the best rhythm guitarist ever and the best side man ever!!!
He did the whole one nation tour without George Clinton (he claimed he needed a break but I realize now that I'm older he most likely was in rehab) and the band never missed a beat!!!

R.I.P. STARCHILD!!!!!!

Wow. That makes me really sad. Been listening to a lot of funk lately, which means I've been listening to a lot of P-Funk lately. I think I'll be listening to quite a bit more of it today in light of this news.

RIP Gary.

Thanks for some truly inspiring music.

MAN RofG this one put me on heels for minute considering so much of the P-FUNK SOUNDS is because of Gary. He co-wrote or wrote so much of their best stuff. Well he can go jam with Eddie Hazel & Glenn Goins every day now!!

No doubt. Without him, they simply don't sound the way they do.

It's too bad the only way to hear that jam is to be dead because talk about wanting the funk uncut... wow. :digit
