Miami-Ace

:dance Well guys Summer Guitar Santa (UPS guy, actually) just brought me a box of fun. I ordered a Squier/Fender Classic Vibe Telecaster from MFriend, taking advantage of a Fourth of July weekend coupon that knocked 10 percent off the price.
It was not in tune ... but that's all that I needed to attend to. Intonation is very close to spot-on perfect. Frets are nice. Neck is sweet. Body is immaculate. Hooked it up to my Pandora processor, running into a Marshall MG 15 amp ... and I am one happy man in Miami. Guitar sounds really good. It's twangy for blues and rockabilly stuff, but the processor can make it either cleaner for a jazzy/folky clean, or fuzzier for more of a rock growl.
The hype about this git being a big-time bargain is for real. It has a very solid Fender feel to it. I don't have the slightest status twinge about its being made in China and having Squier on the headstock in bigger lettering than the Fender signature.
Whoo-hoo and out!!
