Help! Hollow Body!

Looks like you need a Trapeze style tail piece, like this

Then you need a bridge, like this:

You seem to have the pots in place, what about the jack and switch (looks like that is what is below the neck humbucker)?

As for pickups, some mini-humbuckers should do the trick:

Add a little wire, soldering iron, some skill, then string it up and see what she sounds like! Might just have a sweet axe...

It looks like you'd need a bridge, tailpiece, and pickups at the very least. I can't really tell what size the pickups are but some dog-ear P-90s might work. For ease of installation, I'd grab a cheap trapeze tailpiece and a floating bridge.

Good call on those dog-ear P-90s... :applause maybe a mini in the neck and a P-90 in the bridge? Might just be a killer sounding guitar. Almost like Pat Methaney (sp?) meets Ted Nugent! :dude

But in the event you foolishly decide to proceed, the trapeze for sure. Also, may be a candidate for TV Jones style pups, a la Gretsch. I don't know what else you have in your arsenal, but you could coax a lot of different sounds from a box like that.

And of course, some strings.

Just one thing, though... If you look at the neck pickup area, looks like there are some holes for a trim ring, and judging by the size, I think that only a mini 'bucker will fit (or maybe some of those old Gretsch single coil pickups). Besides, do dog-ear P90s need the extra cutout where the height adjustment screws on a humbucker go, ain't that how dog-ears get attached to the guitar?

I was wondering the same thing. My first thought when I saw the guitar was that the cutouts look like the shape of dogear P90s, but then I thought about what you brought up -- that they attach via the dogears.

I don't think it originally had dog-ears, but I think dog-ears will most likely cover up the holes. The pickups were probably specific to that guitar. Finding originals could be difficult and you might not be pleased with the sonic results.
