Those of you not too familiar with Ray Wilson will find that he has been with major European and US recording artists, most notably Genesis. He has purchased the Stiltskin name from a former band mate and produced an album with a few different guitarists. A tour is ongoing but mainly in Germany.

From the Stiltskin/Ray Wilson web site: http://www.genesis-fanclub.de/raywilson/kritiken/stiltskin_facts.htm

In March 2006, SHE is released online. A shop-release will follow in October. SHE has 12 tracks and includes the live-keyboarder Irvin Duguid, Genesis-drummer Nir Z and Uwe Metzler on guitar. The writing has been done by Ray Wilson, Scott Spence, Peter Hoff (producer) and Uwe Metzler. A Stiltskin Tour will follow in October and November 2006

Listening to this album you will immediately notice that this is much heavier sounding than past Ray Wilson solo albums. The heaviness is an attempt to capture a younger fan base. He should have no problem with that! This album rocks in a very mature Ray Wilson sort of way. Nicely done from the songwriting and guitar playing all the way to the production. First class as you can always expect from Mr. Wilson.

Check out Lemon Yellow Sun it's a single in Europe.

If the heaviness turns you off (wimps) then check out the Ray Wilson solo album "Change." More on the lighter side with super catchy hooks and meaningful lyrics. A top 10 record for sure.

Ray's site http://www.raywilson.net/2006/index.htm You will find videos and audio from his solo works here.

Also Ray's myspace page. http://www.myspace.com/raywilsonmusic Be sure to listen to "Good Bye Baby Blue."

I´ve heard Lemon Yellow Sun before, a really nice tune. The other songs were new to me, so thanks Spud for the info.
