I have started a recording project with a buddy of mine. The guitar parts are running through our processors, and we have a pretty good drum machine, which leaves the problem of getting good vocals. I don't have a mixer, so no phantom power, but I have been looking at the USB condenser mics that are now offered. I am wondering if anyone has any experience with these, or has any recommendations. It's a low key project, so I am not planning on spending for than about $100. There is a Nady and an MXL I am looking at. Here are the links.

I think the MXL 006 is a newer than the 990... I think the 006 is brand new... I'm not sure.... Thanks!
