Starting Edmonton Marathon in 2 hours... still not too late to guess my time! I ran 2:43:30 in September last year. What will my time be today?

It may rain today, which is good I think, since there's been a lot of smoke from forest fires around here.

I'll report my time as soon as I can after the race.

Wow, I should have know you were fast, Robert!
My prediction:
2:42:00

Not that you of all people need any tips, but my favorite (bike) racing tip was,
"Train your weaknesses. Race your strengths."

2:44:50. Not a good race! I'm pissed. I ran out of energy and went from 3rd to 5th over the last 3 km. Not acceptable. Now I'll regroup and try to find a redeemer marathon in December somewhere.

I'm useless in long distances and I'm a young buck. Bravo!

You did great! I know you have done better but you are so much better than 99.9999% of the rest of the world. If I could run a half-marathon in that time I'd be sh-ting bricks with joy. Well done and give'em hell next time!
