hi folks,
i was just wondering, so i don't do any more silly questions, is there any e-book, website or any thread where i can read everything i need to know about tube amps?

Start by downloading and reading these chapters:

http://www.diyguitarist.com/Misc/J_Darr.htm

Here is a great book that explains exactly how a guitar amp works and what all the parts do:

http://www.amazon.com/Guitar-Amplifier-Handbook-Understanding-Amplifiers/dp/087930863X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1282599953&sr=1-1-spell

There is a chapter on building your own tube amp, a project the author calls the Two Stroke.

Some info on guitar amp speaker cabinets:

http://www.colomar.com/Shavano/copy_cabinets.html

http://www.colomar.com/Shavano/stereocab.html

Here is the mother load:

http://www.tubebooks.org/technical_books_online.htm

There is enough information to keep an advanced electrical engineer busy for decades.

That's odd, it works fine for me.

That book is back in print again, you might be able to find it or order it locally. It is well worth having.

Don't 'Fret' about it. I got my first tube amp in 1962 and I'm still tryin' to figure 'em out. That's half the fun ;)

Now it works for me as well! Go figure. 'Problems with international picture feed' as they used to frquently say on TV with Olympic games etc. when I was a kid and there were some problems with direct picture broadcasts overseas still.
