Since it is the holiday season, what better way to it than with some excellent Christmas guitar music! A couple of years back, my friend bought me two awesome holiday-themed CD's that feature some of guitar's hottest players playing their own renditions of Christmas favorites. The CD's are entitled "Merry Axemas: A Guitar Christmas", and "Merry Axemas Vol. 2: More Guitars For Christmas". Everything from Steve Vai doing "Christmas Time Is Here" (from the Charlie Brown Christmas TV special), to the Motor City Madman Ted Nugent ripping through "Deck The Halls". It's really some super-creative stuff - delicious tones galore; some awesome fretwork; and, of course, tons of holiday cheer! :D The line-up of musicians is almost staggering, but I'll let that be a surprise. Here are the Amazon links to both CD's, in case anyone's interested:

If anyone else has a unique holiday-themed guitar music recommendation, post it here! If you already have one / both of these CD's, what do you think of them?

Happy Holidays to all of my good friends at The Fret.Net!!!
