I've listened to the new album once so far. Not sure what to make of it. It sounds a bit more like an album someone like Bill Laswell would have made as a re-translation of a Neil Young album than a proper Neil Young album. It's not that I mind ambient/atmospheric music at all, it just seems odd coming from Neil Young. It basically sounds like a Neil Young & Crazy Horse album minus Crazy Horse. Like I said, that's only one listen in. It may grow on me.
