I just discovered this project of Chad's back in August of this year. I love all their stuff. The Meatbats have a bunch of videos on Youtube.

Chad and Jeff Kollman are both regulars on Glenn Hughes' albums and I'm a big fan now not just of Glenn, but Chad can really groove and Jeff, well, Jeff is an amazing guitarist.

Chad is one the most underrated drummers out there! The stuff on that album rocks and funks like crazy. Plus the album is excellently produced. Very natural sounding.

I like the tuning Jeff demonstrates in the above video. It gives that certain heaviness ot the sound without being forced to play highgain.
