OK, I don't have a photo right now, but I can get one tonight. At work, we use beeswax to plug annular spaces in holes during air sampling. So I think I can easily wax pot a pick-up.

I have this P-90 I got at my local store on clearance. It appears to be a double stacked P-90, the store manager said it was a Gibson P-90. Anyways, I'd like to throw it in my Samick Jazzmaster; however, the plastic bobbin plate on the lower wind...is busted, and a corner of the copper windings are exposed.

Is this a problem? And if so, would wax potting be a remedy? If I do wax pot the P90, do I need to remove the tape that is wound around the copper windings?

Edit: Doing some research, it appears I have a Gibson H-90
