Damn, Lou, is that a D68? Beautiful.

I just bought a Washburn today, and posted some pics as well. one of those that need a wire though, in order to be heard.

She sure is pretty. Is that a Yamaki build?

Seriously, those are both great guitars! I'm sure the folks who frequent the Washburn forums (http://forums.washburn.com/) would love to see them.

And that is a very nice guit you bought yourself Tio, I had a friend who had one very similar to yours and unfortunately he broke the neck off ( not sure how he did that ).
I also recently purchased a D70-SW but thank goodness I did so through pay-pal the guitar was not like the pictures he had sent me and I was able to return it through a pay-pal dispute, he had modified the bridge and changed out the original tuners for some real cheap sets ( which were even mismatched ) and for that amount of money ,well back it went.
And on goes the hunt for one in just as good as shape as my D-68SW, but I also notice that they are going up in value on the market. Two years ago they were selling for around $800-900 todays market seems to be closer to $1200, go figure.lou

Those Vintage Yamaki's are fine guitars. I owned an '82 D60 for a while, let it go recently, trying to leverage some unused gear and end up with a single fine piece. Have my eye on a Bourgeios Washy....

Here's my D60, Solid Wood, Ovangkol back and sides.

Almost looks like a Beckmen from the late 70's I have a 12er that has a similar headstock, it was one of their very first runs of the 12 and the top has some great checking in the finish, but the neck is still very straight.lou
