The Fuzz isn't merely another Big Muff clone—it can conjure everything from a slight scruff to full-bore 1973 territory. The Tone control was also impressively versatile, and it bestowed the Fuzz with a full, wooly sound while dialing out that high-pitched shrillness that can affect some fuzzes. That said, this pedal can nail modern tones as well. The White Stripes, Wolfmother, and Them Crooked Vultures would definitely approve of this pedal, if they haven't picked one up already. Chords and leads had definition found in pedals many times the cost of the FAB Fuzz.

The FAB 600ms Delay packs in a similar amount of versatility. Featuring 80 to 600 milliseconds of delay (if you hadn't already picked that up from the name), this pedal can really do it all, from rockabilly slaps to Pink Floyd textures to U2 licks. Despite the rock-bottom price, this pedal is surprisingly warm, and avoids the sterility that affects other digital delays. The repeats even degrade like your favorite analog delay—you know, the one that eats batteries and costs ten times as much. There are a million practical uses for this pedal, and unless you're looking for a state-of-the-art, eight-second delay, this is currently one of the best values to ever hit the effects market.
