Picked up a Bridgecraft resonator guitar today(hence the NRGD). Paid $100 for it used, not sure anything about it. I assume it's fairly old or has been played to death because the coating on the fretboard is peeling, I plan to scrap it off and treat the board with some lemon oil or something similar.

Always wanted one of these, the guy I got it from was shocked when I asked about removing a metal bar over the nut to lift the strings more dobro fashion. Then he was amazed at how well it played and sounded set up more like a guitar than a dobro. I dont think this was a knock on this guy he's played old school bluegrass all his life and the guys he plays with dont really experiment. So the dobro player, plays only the dobro and not slide guitar.
