Yeah it's a little funny to see Jeff playing the LP.

Am I the only one that hasn't ever really liked the sound of slapback delay? I understand Jeff was imitating an era here, but I just can't get into that sound at all.

Jeff has said many negative things about the LP in the past. So I do not quite understand. He could have honoured the late Lester Paulfuss with a Strat, too.
I understand it's honouring a person and not a specific guitar, also when the guy invented that guitar.

I personally like slap back. It's a little effect dinosaur that almost no one uses in modern production, but it has definitely it's place in history.
