This lesson covers the First Position of the E Minor Pentatonic, or Box 1, as it is sometimes referred to.

I show you how to do a cool run too, by using a repetitive pattern.

I'm hoping this lesson will be useful for both beginners, intermediate and more advanced players, since playing that pattern fast requires a high amount of control.

Thanks! The tone comes from a Jet City 20 head and cab - no pedal used except for a DD-20 delay pedal,

I wish I could do that :D

Anyway, I've been trying that scale since yesterday, and I'm making better licks each time I try it. I've been an on and off player for 1 year, and I hope this will help me.

Good lesson Robert the pull off Hammer on combination is a great way to improve the speed of the playing I still remember some old lessons from Arlen Roth in Hot Guitar Licks demonstrating some similar things :applause :thumbsup
