Srsly?

The auction says that he welcomes international bidding. I hope he takes the offer to send the guitar, in return for a $1 million check from a Nigerian oil baron, sent directly to his checking account.:thwap

I'm all for profit, but anyone that buys that guitar is just flat going to be taken advantage of.

I have to believe it's a joke or a typo. Maybe this was touched by an alien hands!

It's gone up by 5 grand - he originally was asking $1,679.99 . Clearly an absolute whackjob, but a fun guy nonetheless (<----I've wanted to use that word for several years now, finally found a sentance to use it in!).

I thought he's have to pay Ebay listing fees, based upon the asking price, whether or not it sold. That would cost some cash if that is the case.

But the real question is, why is Spud looking for expensive Squiers in the first place anyway? :D

Did you see the Q and A?

Q: Is it OK to bid this all they way to $250,000.00?
A: No you can't bid it up. In case you haven't noticed, it's a buy it now auction.

Q: Is that 1679.99 USD or international curency of some sort?
A: USA dollars all the way!

If that's the asking price for a Sunburst Squier Strat, I'll take $3000 even for my black & silver sparkle Squier right now.
