So I love a wide variety of genres, musicians, and bands, but I'll have to admit that I'm a true metal-head at heart, but I came across the newest Dave Matthews band album that I've been meaning to download and/or purchase for the longest time (since it first was released in 2009). I finally downloaded it tonight...and I was shocked at how good it was.
I think this is their best album by far. When their beloved Sax player died before the album was recorded, they really got their stuff together and started making some really great music, I can see (I can hear, more so).
So yeah, if you're not a huge fan of DMB, and/or you have not listened to their newest tunes on their album Big Whiskey And The Groo-Grux King, I strongly encourage you to do so. The musicianship on this album is excellent. Some of their best material for sure.
