I am fortunate to come in contact with some pretty creative and unusual people through my business, as musicians often are. I'm working with someone at present who may well be at the top of that list. Sometimes folks will send me a photo of their guitar(s) when trying to decide on a strap design or color. When I saw the photo of this particular guitar I admit I was speechless ~~~

I'll take the tuna there, second from left. But no smoked eel? And where the hell's the wasabi? :reallymad:

I just edited the 1st post to show the squid neck inlay ~~~
I love the detail of the sushi being on a serving plate on a grass mat

I'm pretty sure that's smoked eel in the cutaway horn

I think you could just take a chunk of leather, soak it in some fish guts and you'd have a perfect match for that guitar. It's all about the presentation right?

I see a light green dirt pedal in somebodies future.. "The Wasabi"

Also maybe the strap should be black to represent the soy sauce, or maybe that's why the body is black..

The only other things I can immediately associate with sushi and sashimi are chopsticks and scary sharp knives. Dunno how you'd work that into a strap though. Perhaps the Kanji for the dishes in the guitar stamped into the leather?

Wicked guitar though regardless and that inlay work is spectacular.

Very interesting. The Gamera destroying Tokyo guitar is a nice concept. Even has a Gamera spewing flames fret marker. The sushi guitar's greatest cost is probably the fake sushi. That stuff can be incredibly expensive.
