Hi Everyone,

Robert posted a press release that Mack Amps recently published announcing the launch of our new "Gem 2G" guitar amp. You can read that post here: http://www.thefret.net/content.php?118-Mack-2G

I thought you might like to see some photos of the 2G.

These look fantastic! I really like that Skyraider as well.

The clips on the amp's webpage sound great. I feel G.A.S. building.

Thanks for your kind words!

If you like the Skyraider you might want to check out the videos on this page (http://www.mackamps.com/blog/bid/52804/Mack-Amps-and-David-Barrett-The-Story-Behind-The-Video-Hollowbody). They were recently recorded using both a Skyraider SR-15 (http://www.mackamps.com/products-Skyraider-SR15/) and a Heatseeker HS-18 (http://www.mackamps.com/products-Heatseeker-HS18/). The clips feature The David Barrett Trio from Toronto who have recently recorded three songs in Alex Lifeson's studio with Big Al producing. This band really cooks!

Great looking amp, Don. I like the "lunchbox" styling.

Out of curiosity, how is the circuit wired? PCB? Eyelet board?

Thanks! The Gem 2G uses a printed circuit board. The components are plugged into the board by hand and soldered by hand.
