Hey guys,

Anyone interested in buying my Line-6 M13 ?

I bought it around Christmas time two years ago and it has had very little use. It is in perfect shape and has the latest firmware (I do not have the original box). The reason I'm selling it is that I just never bonded with it. Don't get me wrong, the models are really cool but it would just sit there begging to be used and I'd just ignore it.

What drove me over the edge was...WAH. Today I picked up an expression pedal to control the WAH and also a Zakk Wylde Crybaby to compare against. With the Crybaby, I just plugged it in and made some noise; but with the M13 I had to decide: connect straight in, or use the four-cable method. And so I went about experimenting with both and settled upon the four-cable method.. then I had to label the cables and get them all out of the way.. Anyway, too complicated for me. I had originally bought the M13 because I thought I'd have every effect covered with it, and that is true. But since I got my boogie, I don't need any gain and pretty much play just straight into the amph. To make a long story short (sorry!), today I discovered that I'm just old-skool and would rather have a simple pedal board than a fancy M13.

After all that salesmanship, is anyone interested? I'll give you a fair deal. I haven't even looked at what these are going for, I paid about $500 a couple of years ago so you'll get a good price.

Let me know if you have any questions. BTW, I'm open to trades as well... especially if you have one of those Hell guilars laying around. ;-) :dude

So what kind of cash would you want for it?

Would $350 + shipping be out of line?

That's a great price. Someone would be pretty happy with it for that price.

Would you? ;-) Honestly, I haven't even shopped around. Like I said, it has hardly any use but then again, you can buy a new one for $499 (http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Line-6-M13-Stompbox-Modeler-Guitar-Multi-Effects-Pedal?sku=482675) ... I'd just like to see a fellow Fretter have it. Trades are still a-okay. :dude

Since the 'new' button has been a little erratic I though I'd bump this.. GAS anyone? ;-)

I've never used either of them, but that's kind of surprising to hear. What's his reasoning?

They do seem really different... what I like so far about the HD500 is the IO (headphone, usb) and amph models for silent(er) playing for late night jamming.

Hey, sorry for adding my two cents. My buddy found a trade locally...

The POD is the entire recording experience. It's a pedal chain, amp, mics, sound treated room...all in one. It works all right with a good amp, but it's really designed for direct input. My buddy has a Heritage Vox AC15 that sounds GREAT, but it never really sounded that awesome paired with a pod. The M13 eliminates most of the recording processing equation... it's just stomp box portion. The M13 paired with the AC15 sounds absolutely awesome!

No worries.. I'll keep this M13 for sale here for a while (I'm not in any hurry) and move it to craigslist sometime down the road.

So I've been playing the M13 with my Marshall Class 5 and it sounds really, really good. The Class 5 with the M13'a heavy distortion and spring reverb sounds pretty sweet. I'm going to try it again with my Boogie (don't need any gain/reverb, maybe some comp/delay) and see if I still want to sale it. I also have to compare the Wah with my Zakk Wylde Wah before the 30-day try-out expires. :dude

I'm putting my M13 back up for sale. I just don't use it that much, especially since I got my Morley Bad Horsie 2 Wah (http://www.morleypedals.com/dvai-2.html) and my Polytune (http://www.tcelectronic.com/polytune.asp).

Any takers? I'd consider trading for a couple of decent pedals (a looper, or delay/echo, compressor).

Make it three cartons and it's a deal.. As a pack is between $10 - $13 dollars up here (http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_much_does_an_average_pack_of_cigarettes_cost_i n_Canada), so that will be about 3 x 13 x 10 = $390 + $10 for the Molson, that's $400 bucks Canadian which is a cool $420 (http://www.xe.com/ucc/convert/?Amount=400&From=CAD&To=USD) for you! That's a great deal, thanks!
