Hello guys,

I have recorded 3 recent demos the first one is called hand in hand and I used my epi les paul custom for the main guitar parts and the piano and synth sounds were played on my strat using the GR20.

Trainwreck was recorded using my indie ISG, the drums seem a little off kilter and I don't think they fully work in this piece but its just a demo so its not that critical I suppose. The main riff is a dropped d affair with a raspy woody sound.

Southside rock was recorded using the epiphone again and is a bit noisy.

Very nice. A lot of tonal diversity. What are you recording with? Great playing too.

Hiya Spudman,

Thanks for the comments, there's a lot of good stuff on this site and I'm like a kid in a sweet shop at the moment lol.

I have a Yamaha 01X going into cakewalk 8.5, I use a Behringer vamp pro for the guitar sounds.

This is great sound stuff. Lots of diverse sounds like Spud said, and neat arrangements too. Looking forward to hearing more.

Wow! Great sounds. I use a Vamp Pro too but haven't gotten the great sounds that you get. Any way to get your patch file?

It's the stock settings, but I also use some plugins to try and get somthing more out of it maybe just some compression and some eq. I use patch numbers 7 10 and 13 mostly' theres a patch within 7 that reminds me of Keef Richards a little and numbers 10 and 13 have a short delay ala Randy Rhodes, these are the ones I use most of the time. I Sometimes tweek the presence out but as a rule I don't save the patches. I checked out your page on soiundclick and I think you have an excellent sound, especially on the Gary Moore track you covered, very well played and recorded.
