This may very be my last recording with my PodXT as I've decided on purchasing the new Pod HD bean to replace it. Robert should get an endorsement from Line 6 since the tones he recorded in his demos with the HD500 roped me in. :hungry

Anyway, this is a nice song to chug along with and a good exercise in rhythm playing. I've linked the URL to the backing track I used for this below. I used my Charvel SoCal on this track with the XT, recorded everything in Mackie Tracktion and used just a little T Racks for EQ and polished it with a little vintage mastering kit included in the same plugin.

Swede, you tell me...do you really miss your XT? I've had mine since late '03 and got a lot of use out of it. I think going to the HD will be a good thing...newer tech, more capabilities, etc. It's nice that my FBV will work with it. That means it wasn't a wasted purchase.

Anyway, thanks for listening and the nice comments.

Yeah, well I miss my old stuff sometimes but I get bored easily and need to move on... constantly... The XT is a damn fine unit, but like all digital stuff newer usually equals better.

Love that song. Nice hard tone. A little more gain and less fuzzy and organic than old Neil perhaps. Thanks for the backer too. That does look to be a good rhythm exercise and fun as well!
