Saw Sleigh Bells tonight (well, last night really but I'm still up) in St. Pete.
I was very interested to see how they'd pull of their unique sound in a live setting. The answer was with utter awesomeness.
For a band that consists of two people, they each have the charisma of half a dozen. Alexis Krauss has such energy and stage presence, not to mention a killer voice and Derek Miller is just a bad mofo with that guitar in his hands.
I will say this, they were, by a wide margin, the loudest band I've ever seen live and I've seen the Who. Perhaps Miller's amp set-up has something to do with it...
