A fine looking box. Still trying to pick up on the gretsch look

Yes, I've been eying those. The reviews of the first production run were mixed, so hopefully the quality is up by now.

I'd still consider the Gretsch G5120 the be my first choice in an affordable full hollow rockabilly box.

I might agree with you based on the Gretsch reputaion and name, but the Swingster does have features above the 5120. The push/pull pots on the Swingster allow to switch between parallel and series circuits, nice tone combinations. The 14 inch radius is nice and the roller bridge is pinned. I have a Swingster in orange, a beautiful guitar, but the bridge leans forward, especially with bending. I need to find a sollution to this.
