Heard about this on NPR on the way home today.

Can't wait to find some time to browse through this.

The very definition of "national treasure."

The Library of Congress, in association with Sony Music has launched the National Jukebox (link follows).

The jukebox currently features free streaming of over 10,000 recordings of music and speeches from the first quarter of the 20th century.

I'd love to see this expand but 10,000 recordings sure seems a good start to find some quality stuff.

Anyone need any more proof libraries are a good thing?

Nice, the show's about to come on, I'll be listening. Already found some cool stuff on the site. Thanx!
