The other day, I was in my workshop trying to work out a stubborn fastener, and that song came on my local community radio

I just stopped what I was doing, swept off my feet, totally caught in her rendition of the song!

I do not have a link handy, but look it up. Marvelous stuff.

While I'm not a huge fan of the standards and crooners, when a song is done like this, it really hits you.
I put Nat King Cole at the top of the pyramid of standards singers. That Sinatra kid sure sang well, too!

But even standards have to have an original version. Al Bowlly with the Ray Noble Orchestra, 1934. "Now that was a voice" as Richard Thompson had it..
