I think it's great Google is heading this direction. They have the resources for something like this, that's for sure. Let's see about them getting the music industry on their side here.

Yeah, I give it 5 years before most music is online. I still use my iPod but CD's are long dead, Spotify from my cell phone to car stereo input and/or web radios are gaining ground daily. Just today I listened to some assorted Motörhead tracks in the car via Spotify...it's superb indeed.

I feel like I'm becoming a real minority using very few of Google's services. If it weren't for that platform I'd probably just use Youtube and the basic search page. I'm curious about the GOOG's music, though.
