What's yer take on this...see, I'm writing a book, actually the second one, and it it me if it ever would be published (currently being checked out by the 1st publisher candidate&awaiting revision still), what kind of name would I choose as writer name?

I tend to use slightly different names for each purpose, or even different bands, so that people won't immediately know that's the same dude. Not like I'm really trying to hide the fact, but I guess I have a slight aversion to being known too well. One of my nightmares would be to get at all famous where I live, or even appear in some tabloid story even as a side note...I don't mind if some people know me, you know, music people etc. but not the public, please!

I could just invent some real-sounding author name easily, it would also be fun. And, since my first book is fantasy and the second sci-fi, I could have different names for each genre as well...but, maybe just one name for all my literary endeavors?
