We all know the main hits of a lot of our favorite bands, and they are often the only songs that get remembered or played. In this thread, post one (or more) "other" song from a favorite band or bands.

I am starting off with Pink Floyd. Some of their stuff fills up most of youtube with the lessons of how to play it, etc. This one not so much. But it is very cool. David's lick at mid 6 minutes is particularly fun.

Most everybody here knows I like George Lynch a lot. Most people would know his stuff with Dokken, but this is the last track off the most recent Lynch Mob record "Smoke and Mirrors." It's called "Mansions in the Sky." It's not heavy at all, but it's my favorite track off the album.

You'll see a few videos for this one out there, but it is by far and away my favorite Steve Vai song. It's called "Sisters" off his 1990 (erp!) album "Passion and Warfare."

George Lynch, aggressive as he gets. Lynch/Pilson was a great project.

One of my favorite Skynyrd tunes. Quite soulful.

Great Vai selection, marnold. I had worn out that CD when I was going to lessons, bugging my teacher to show me parts of the tunes.

A great Queen tune from News of the World... I don't think that it was very well-known, but I could be wrong.

Queen reminded me of Queensryche! How about their cover of "Scarborough Fair"? There's a very real danger that this would become campy or otherwise awful, but I think they metalified it nicely.

And from the same era, "The Lady Wore Black."

An artist I always like coming back to, just to come down or shake of a stressful day is Gino Vanelli. You might all know this one...

"Spread Your Wings" wasn't a big hit, but fairly well known among fans.

"You Take My Breath Away" was a sleeper that shows Freddie's voice well.
Get's going at 35 seconds.

From Innuendo, "Bijou". Brian May's best guitar performance.
Very heartfelt song.

"Spread Your Wings" is a very underrated Queen song.

Some of my favorite tone from Mr. May which is saying a lot because his tones are among the reasons I went with a Vox amp.
