Yesterday my baby daughter, Jenny, was officially hired as the softball coach for "College of Coastal Georgia" in
Brunswick, GA., right next to Jekyll Island and St. Simon's Island. It's a relatively small college, with only
3,500 students, but she'll get to live at the beach...and she's loving that. She has to go right into recruiting
in June so she's on cloud 9 and scared to death at the same time. She's only 28, but she's worked really hard to
get to where she is and we are really proud of her.

BTW, she's also a teacher....

That's a good position if you are sport minded. Is she a player too?

BTW - she has nice teeth.

Congrats, PS, I've got two college aged kids of my own, I can imagine the pride when they start really settling into their own as professionals.
Well done, Papa.

She was a player, was starting 3rd base on her high team when
they won 3 state championships in a row. And she played 3rd
base in college where she played in the College World Series. And
I can still remember teaching her to hit and throw in the yard.
Then seeing her hit homeruns in college. :)

Congrats PS......and too Jenny too. It's a wonderful thing for a father to see their baby girls grow up, make their way in the world and be independent to boot.

Congrats! What a pretty girl, and that's a beautiful area, we drive by it when driving up to my folks' place in NC. The coastal areas of Georgia and SC are really neat.

PS, that's great! WE all want the best for our kids and success comes from a lot of work from parents and the kids.
