I've tried posting several photos using the URL from the photo and posting it into the proper window and I get an "invalid url' message for every one. This is the first time I've tried this since the forum software upgrade.

Is something going on with this?

It was doing that for me too, and there is some little box below where you put the url in that you can check or uncheck. Unchecked seems to work and the box seems to be selected for you, so you have to "uncheck" it. The new video and photo url boxes are my only complaint about the upgrade. They seem just a little more cumbersome.

Yeah, you have to uncheck that box. It tries to store it on the Fret server, and that won't work. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Yes, and the vid box defaults to seeking a location on your computer rather than a URL also. You just have to switch it with the tabs at the top of the box.

EDIT: I just posted a vid and it didn't do this so maybe that changed.

I changed it so it shouldn't have a check box to worry about anymore.

Are we all good?

Thanks Boss! We were fine already, but that makes it even easier.

Now it is happening to me on 2 different systems, and both IE and Firefox.
The check box is gone, not that I used it.

Try logging out and back in - are you getting an invalid URL message still?

Yep, no change. I'll mess with it later.

Still not working. Logged out and back in on both systems and both IE and Firefox. Even cleared all cookies.
This started for me when the check box was removed. I don't have any problem at Mark's forum, and he's running the same app (I'm guessing you helped him Robert).

I've even tried to use something local to The Fret server:

but no go.

As an IT person myself, I hate these kinds of issues that are a pain to fix.

It was a forum bug... trying a fix now. Looks like we have a winner.
