Happy Independence Day to all my fellow 'Merican Fretters living in 'Merica. I've got a short week this week, so I spent my "holiday" at my computer writing my sermon. We did however enjoy the fine Wisconsin tradition of having brats (note to non-Midwesterners--it's pronounced "braht") that had simmered in beer all afternoon. Add a bit of mustard and some sauerkraut and you're ready to rock. I'm going to see if I can sneak in a couple of screaming solos now before the kids go to bed. We'll see if my neighbors have purchased more ordinance other than the ones they fired off the other night. I'm surprised that block is still standing.
Tomorrow, my homebrew club is coming over and I'm going to whip up a batch of something I've never tried before.
