Wow, Thanks NWB we all have different exposure and perspective musically I have learned some new to me artist here as well.

So much of the media is geared towards rock artist and musicians as if they are the only cats you can put it down musically when given proper perspective and exposure those rock artist are in many cases just on par or not as good as many R&B artist and musicians. But some how R&B artist they are never given any press or the true credit they deserve. But those in the know spread the word because music is universal to real music lovers once they hear them they are like hell yeah this guy or chick is of the charts. It is like the 1st time I heard PINK FLOYD live love at 1st note. I can remember the reaction my hard rock disco suck crowd friends had when I took them to see artists like PFUNK, CAMEO, PRINCE, EARTH, WIND, & FIRE, ISLEY BROTHERS , LARRY GRAHAM, BOTHER'S JOHNSON, MOTHER'S FINEST, or MANDRILL watching their jaws drop it was so much fun and even more to see them start jamming to the music and me saying to them hey didn't you say all this band was just disco why you grooving so hard. Next thing I know they had a cassette with their music in their ride.

The media branded so many R&B bands as disco which is so far from truth and what they really did just because you can dance to does not make it disco hell its not R&B if you can not dance to the party songs.

If those Heavy Metal heads only knew that Metallica listen to JAMES BROWN every night before they went on stage during the early and mid nineties or that even though David Lee Roth was saying we are not Earth, Wind, & Fire all the while jamming to them back stage before Van Halen went on during the 1984 tour.

Words to live by GREAT MUSIC IS UNIVERSAL!!
